Configure profile, language, theme, and account

Know which preferences are personal, which are shared project settings, and where account actions live.

Global Settings has five visible tabs

• Profile: avatar, nickname, email display, and biography.
• General: interface language and system, light, or dark theme.
• Billing: subscription status, renewal, invoices, and plan actions.
• Usage: current AI conversation allowance and period usage.
• Account: join information, sign out, and account deletion.

An older Invite implementation exists in the codebase but is not part of the current visible Settings navigation. Use the current five tabs rather than following stale screenshots.

Personal settings do not rewrite the project

Changing language or theme affects your interface. It does not translate screenplay content, rename shared entities, or change collaborators' displays. Docs use the same selected interface language when a tutorial translation exists.

Project title, screenplay format, and project AI settings live in the project's own Settings modal. Those values are shared and should be changed with the team in mind.

Account actions

Signing out ends your session but does not delete projects. Account deletion is destructive and may affect owned project access; read the confirmation carefully and transfer or export important work first.

Profile changes and account operations require a working authenticated session. If a save fails, verify connectivity and session status before repeating the action.
